Job Description

• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment
• Perform scheduled and emergency service on a variety of HVAC equipment
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to interpret drawings and manuals
• Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
• Order parts needed for repairs if needed
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
• Complete reports for work recommended
• Explain issues with equipment and repairs
• Build and maintain relationships with local staff
• Wage range for this position is $35 - $40 / hour

Qualifications

• Licensed mechanic (313A)
• Have your Gas Fitters license, G2 is preferred
• Working at Heights will be required/provided.
• 5+ years experience in Mechanical controls/BAS
• Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills
• Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
• Ability to work independently without much supervision
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces
• Driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
• This role involves a regional territory of no more than 90 minutes from reporting location in Mississauga
• Ability to effectively manage time
