Journeyman Electrician

Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our Burlington team. As an Electrician, you will be part of our team responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various industrial, commercial and/or institutional settings. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.

What will you do as an Electrician at Spark Power?

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment and components in various settings
  • Installing conduit and wire, terminating conductors
  • Troubleshooting circuitry and replacing damaged components on industrial equipment and systems
  • Installing fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems
  • Ordering required parts and controlling all job materials using our computer system
  • Completing work orders as per client specifications and input; reviewing the completed job with the customer, to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Always maintaining a clean work area, while demonstrating your commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Proactively preparing for upcoming work
  • Interacting with various individuals at different levels within the company

Do you have the Spark? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • A valid 309A Electrician License
  • 5 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in an industrial and/or commercial setting
  • A valid class driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Superior problem-solving skill
  • High regard for health and safety
  • A desire for continuous improvement
  • Basic computer skills
