Our Member is looking to hire a 309A Licensed Electrician to join their team in Hamilton, ON.

We are looking for a 309A licensed electrician with the experience, expertise, and ability to lead and organize projects to join our team in Hamilton and the GTA.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial, commercial, and residential settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.

Requirements:

• Journeyman / Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• 2-3 years of experience required.
• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.

Salary: $35.00-$45.00 / hr
