Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Mississauga, ON is seeking an experienced Technician I. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining trucks and trailers with training support from OEM programs.

Candidates must have a Red Seal/310T and a valid license, plus the ability to travel within the district. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $41–$43 with shift premiums of $3 for 2nd shift and $4 for 3rd shift, plus comprehensive benefits and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
• Must possess Provincial License such as Red Seal/310T.
• Current driver's license class D or class 3 with air brake certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance services to trucks and trailers.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair orders.
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings and safety devices.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
