Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Edmonton is seeking an experienced, licensed technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of tractor trailer equipment.

You will work with industry-leading tools and OEM training to support our customers and advance your career. Qualifications

• 5+ years of tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• Provincial license Red Seal/310T.
• Active membership with government agencies.
• Valid Class D or Class 3 license with air brake cert, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficiency with tools including welding and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair orders.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Inspect brakes, steering, bearings and other critical components.
• Raise trucks using hydraulic jacks or hoists and use hand/power tools safely.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision and in a timely manner.
