GFL is seeking a skilled heavy‑duty diesel technician to diagnose, repair, and service our fleet of trucks and associated equipment in Ontario. The role requires inspecting electrical, hydraulic, braking, and emission systems and coordinating parts procurement as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Ontario 310T or equivalent, a clean driver’s abstract, and be capable of following technical manuals and safety regulations in a semi-structured environment.

Qualifications

• Communication skills and reliability are required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain records.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on software systems.
• Must be able to meet safety-sensitive criteria as per company standards.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
• Service fleet of Trucks, Vacuum Trucks and Power Wash Units.
• Maintain and repair heavy diesel, CNG, gas and electrically operated equipment.
• Complete reports, work orders, and procure parts.
• Plan repairs in M5 planner and coordinate schedules.
