Job summary

True Dental in West Kelowna, BC is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our patient‑focused team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take dental X‑rays, and uphold IPAC and infection‑control standards to ensure safe, efficient care.

We offer competitive wages of CAD 27–30 per hour plus extended health benefits. The role emphasizes patient comfort, teamwork, and ongoing professional development within a modern practice on Highway 97.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified Dental Assistant with Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide oral hygiene education post-treatment.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $27-$30/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow Take dental X-rays and digital images as required Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high‑quality care Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

About You

Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
