Job summary

Canadian Tire Stores in Ontario seeks a Licensed Automotive Technician to work in a fast-paced auto service environment, delivering expert diagnostics and repairs while assisting the automotive team.

Qualifications

• Valid mechanic's licence required.
• Driver's licence for province of employment required.
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Experience in a Canadian Tire Automotive Service Centre is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and explain procedures and repairs.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, estimates and repairs.
• Complete and review repair orders with Service Advisors.
• Communicate with Service Manager and Advisors.
• Provide accurate estimates and written vehicle reports.
• Ensure unsafe vehicles are reported to management and owners.
• Remain current with auto technology and safety regulations.
