AWIN Advanced Body Shop | North York is seeking a Licensed Autobody Technician to join our premium auto group in the Greater Toronto Area. You will repair and refurbish damaged vehicles to pre-damage condition, applying your advanced body repair skills with precision.

Job Purpose

As an Autobody Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and refurbishing vehicles that have been damaged due to accidents or other incidents. Using your expertise in automotive body repair, you will assess vehicle damage, perform necessary repairs, and ensure vehicles are restored to their pre-damage condition. Your role will involve a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and customer service to meet the needs and expectations of our clients.

Compensation: This is a fully commission position

Job Duties:

• Perform damage assessments by examining Vehicles and using diagnostic tools to determine what repairs are needed.
• Repair vehicles per estimate and according to standards.
• Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
• Review the damage report and estimates of repair costs and plan the work to be done.
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming, and then applying paint to vehicles to match original colours and textures.
• Keep up with industry advancements, new repair techniques, and safety regulations to perform repairs effectively and safely.

Successful Candidates Possess:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Auto Body Technician's Licence
• Clear Driver's Abstract
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Must have manual transmission driving experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure enviornment
• Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and complete all assigned tasks
• Sound understanding of all automotive functionalities
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
