AWIN Advanced Body Shop | North York is seeking a Body Shop Estimator to join our high‑performing team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves assessing vehicles, preparing accurate estimates and coordinating with technicians to ensure smooth repairs.

• 3+ years of estimating experience in a body shop or automotive setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Solid understanding of automotive systems and repair processes, with experience using estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Assess structural components of a vehicle and determine repair scope.
• Adhere to insurance guidelines and client requirements.
• Collaborate with body technicians through the dismantle and repair process.
• Provide accurate pricing and quotes for all vehicles.
• Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the repair process.
• Manage multiple repairs simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
• Implement a thorough quality check to ensure repairs meet standards.

Job Purpose:

The Body Shop Estimator must have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimal service.

Job Duties:

• Assess structural components of a vehicle
• Adhering to and applying insurance guidelines
• Working with Body Technicians through the dismantle process
• Provide accurate pricing and quotes for all vehicles
• Maintain communication with customers and be available to answer questions throughout the repair process
• Effectively manage multiple repairs simultaneously
• Implement an effective quality check process by inspecting repaired vehicles and ensuring the repair is up to standard

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role or automotive position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and complete all assigned tasks
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Sound understanding of all automotive functionalities
• Must have experience with Mitchell or Audatex
