Job summary

SOGECLAIR in Montreal seeks a seasoned liaison engineer to provide technical support for aerospace production operations, analyze NCRs, and coordinate interventions with multidisciplinary teams to ensure work compliance and smooth operations.

With 10+ years in MRB, you will bring knowledge of airframe structures, systems installation, and CATIA V5, while communicating effectively in English to drive productive outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of MRB experience in airframe structural repairs.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite aircraft structures and aircraft systems installation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and take ownership.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stress, materials and processes, systems, design, quality, and operations teams.

Job description

We are looking for a liaison engineer to provide technical support for aerospace production operations, analyze and resolve manufacturing issues, and coordinate interventions with multidisciplinary teams to ensure work compliance and smooth operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support production operations across multiple business aircraft programs.
• Analyze and resolve airframe and systems-related issues by providing technical support and responding to non-conformance reports (NCRs) raised by the Quality team.
• Work closely with other disciplines, including stress, materials and processes, systems, flight sciences, design, methods, quality, and operations, to resolve NCRs and achieve operational objectives.
• Participate in projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and improving financial performance.

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-year technical college diploma in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) environment, particularly in airframe structural repairs.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite aircraft structures, as well as aircraft systems installation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and thrive in a dynamic team environment.
• Experience with CATIA V5.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
