Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments in Saskatoon invites qualified teachers to join our Lesson Centre network as independent contractors. Teach violin and other instrument lessons in our on-site centres during weeknights and weekends at the 721 43 Street E location.

Ideal candidates have a music degree or diploma or a Grade 8 RCM with Grade 2 Rudiments, plus prior teaching experience with learners of all ages and familiarity with standard curricula and teaching methods.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one of the listed qualifications.
• Music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College.
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM with Grade 2 Rudiments.
• Professional equivalency.
• Previous teaching experience with all ages of students.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum.

Job Requirements

• Suitable candidates must have at least one of the following:
• a music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College

• Must have previous teaching experience with all ages of students
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum in the private or group lesson situation is required
