Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments in Lethbridge, AB, is seeking a dedicated Saxophone Lessons Teacher to provide engaging instruction at our on-site Lesson Centre.

As an independent contractor, you will design and deliver lessons to individuals and groups, adapting to all ages while applying standard teaching methods and a formal curriculum.

This position requires a music degree or diploma or professional equivalency, and prior teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A music degree or diploma from a recognized university or college.
• RCM Grade 8 with Grade 2 Rudiments or an equivalent professional credential.
• Previous teaching experience with students of all ages and knowledge of standard teaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide saxophone lessons to students of all ages.
• Work as an independent contractor and align with the Lesson Centre curriculum.
• Incorporate standard teaching methods and lesson plans.

• Suitable candidates must have at least one of the following:
• a music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College
• a minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments
• professional equivalency
