Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments in Woodstock is seeking a Lessons Teacher to operate as an independent contractor, supporting on-site Lesson Centres that offer diverse instrument lessons including piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings and voice.

Applicants must have a music degree or diploma, or equivalent credentials, plus prior teaching experience with all ages and knowledge of standard teaching methods and curricula.

Qualifications

• Requires a music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College.
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM with Grade 2 Rudiments.
• Professional equivalency.

• Suitable candidates must have at least one of the following:

• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum in the private or group lesson situation is required
