Job summary

Fairstone Bank in Canada is seeking a Financial Consultant in Loan Solutions to support customers by phone and in person, assess loan applications, and help borrowers find the right financing options.

You will gather loan information, sell loan and protection products, close loans, and follow up on past-due accounts while upholding credit policy and risk controls.

• As a consultant in loan solutions, you will support customers and prospective customers on the phone and in person to provide the best-in-class service
• Ensure loan applications are assessed accurately and timely in a fast-paced environment

Must-haves:

Extra - awesome to have:

• You have at least 1 year of prior experience in loan underwriting
• experience in a financial institution
• Previous experience working with loan origination software
• Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration
• Maintain a positive supportive attitude, help to maintain a gratifying work atmosphere!
