Job summary

Scotiabank in Toronto seeks an experienced loan operations leader to manage a small team handling administrative services for corporate credit facilities. You will supervise a mix of staff in collaboration with Directors to ensure timely, accurate processing and strong internal controls.

The role emphasizes customer-focused leadership, risk management, and effective coordination across LoanIQ/BESS platforms, with a strong focus on client relationships and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance or business or equivalent.
• Knowledge of corporate lending services and credit facilities.
• Familiarity with loan markets and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a loan operations team of 3–5 staff delivering admin services for corporate credit facilities.
• Supervise Assistant Managers and Analysts in coordination with Directors/Managers.
• Ensure timely, accurate posting and adherence to controls and risk requirements (operational and regulatory).
• Develop staffing plans, monitor productivity, and report weekly on performance.
