As a non-profit social enterprise without shareholders, GreenShield prioritizes and reinvests its excess earnings to directly support underserved communities. Through GreenShield Cares, GreenShield committed $75 million to improve the health of over one million Canadians by the end of 2025, focusing on mental health, essential medicines, and chronic disease management.

To serve its needs and sustain its growth ambitions, GreenShield is looking to hire a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team.

Working closely with business and operations leaders, you will play a key role in supporting GreenShield’s operations across. In this role, you will provide timely and strategic legal advice on a wide range of insurance and health matters, from regulatory compliance and product development to marketing, licensing and contract negotiation, to name a few. You will also support strategic partnerships, RFPs, and the resolution of claims and disputes. You will contribute to GreenShield’s growth in Quebec by advising on the delivery and distribution of products and services tailored to this market.
