What you'll do:

In this challenging role, you will provide legal advice to support Prevost's day-to-day business and operations in North America, primarily in corporate and commercial law, contract review, regulatory compliance, and litigation.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and opinions on matters related to Prevost's North American operations, respecting applicable legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
• Review and negotiate various commercial contracts, including product sales, supply, and information technology contracts.
• Advise on legal risks and propose business options.
• Monitor litigation files with external lawyers.
• Support bidding teams to ensure smooth tenders.
• Advise on regulatory compliance issues.
• Organize and deliver in-house training courses.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Volvo Group and Prevost's Executive Committee.
• Perform other legal tasks related to company activities.

Who are you?

• Bachelor's degree in law and member of a professional association
• Knowledge of Common Law (asset)
• Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in commercial law
• Expertise in contractual matters and supplier contracts review
• Litigation management skills, especially in product liability (asset)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Strong collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills
