Qualifications

  • Cinq ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire, idéalement en litige commercial.
  • Bilingue français et anglais, avec d'excellentes compétences organisationnelles.

Job description

This firm, where excellence meets benevolence, is looking for someone with experience in commercial litigation, more specifically with injunctions. This person will join their team of commercial litigation lawyers in their Montreal office to play an important role in carrying out legal and administrative work.


The challenges
  1. Prepare documents, letters and standard litigation procedures;
  2. Manage large files using document management software;
  3. Write, proofread and correct legal documents;
  4. Ensure the maintenance of the agenda and files including the management of deadlines;
  5. Organize the logistics of meetings and travel for lawyers. Also manage calls and emails from lawyers;
  6. Open, track, organize, and file physical and virtual files.

Qualifications
  1. Hold a diploma of professional studies and legal secretarial work;
  2. Have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar position. Experience in injunctions and Anton Piller is a definite asset;
  3. Be fluent in French and English, both oral and written;
  4. Be comfortable navigating with various technological tools, including the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word), as well as document management software (iManage, an asset);
  5. Have an outstanding sense of organization to manage priorities and adapt in a fast-paced work environment;
  6. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, rigor, discretion and initiative. In doing so, enjoy learning and developing continuously;
  7. Have good interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating with colleagues;
  8. Be concerned about offering high quality customer service.
