Position Overview: We are seeking a Legal Assistant (LA) in our Banking & Financial Services Department. The LA will manage practice-related tasks proactively and independently, providing high-level support to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent multi-tasking, administrative, communication skills, and banking & financial services experience.
Education & Experience: Community College diploma in Office, Legal, or Business Administration, plus at least three years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations considered.
Knowledge & Skills: Support for a Partner’s practice with discretion, excellent attention to detail, strong communication, technical skills (MS Office), organizational abilities, responsiveness, teamwork, initiative, legal procedures knowledge, drafting, and proofreading skills.
Our current hybrid work model requires primarily in-office work with up to two days remote work per week.
