Duties

The Legal Assistants at the National Capital Regional Office support Crown prosecutors in federal prosecutions. Responsibilities include coordinating with courts, investigators, defense lawyers, maintaining legal files, drafting legal documents, handling correspondence, and organizing travel and expenses.

Essential Education

  • Experience as a legal assistant.
  • Experience in criminal law support.
  • Experience preparing litigation cases.
  • Experience organizing travel and expenses.
