Groupe MACH's Legal Affairs team in Montreal is growing, seeking motivated professionals to support lawyers and paralegals with file management, calendars, and governance tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bilingual English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills are considered an asset) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Versatile, resourceful, proactive, and self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong active listening abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update departmental file lists, tracking logs, calendars, and governance tools.
  • Provide administrative support to lawyers and paralegals, including: compiling and organizing legal documents; coordinating legal files and departmental activities; coordinating document execution and obtaining signatures; drafting ancillary agreements, amendments, correspondence, letters, and extension agreements.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

High school diploma or a vocational diploma (DEP) in Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bilingualism required: English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills are considered an asset) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
