Job summary

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking a Leasing Agent for its Peakside Townhomes in Fernie, BC. The role focuses on helping tenants find homes, building lasting relationships, and driving vacancy targets.

You will prescreen applicants for rent pre-approval, schedule viewings, and support move-in/move-out processes, with competitive benefits and a pay scale starting at $20.80–$26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between sites.
• Availability to work full-time weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through excellent customer service and communication.
• Book appointments with prospective tenants and contact wait list applicants for viewings.
• Complete prescreening of applicants for pre-approval to rent and communicate approval/decline status.
• Support move-in and move-out processes and day-to-day administrative activities.
• Deliver vacancy targets on assigned properties.
• Support market research, marketing strategies and vacancy rate improvements.
