Job summary

CAPREIT in Canada seeks a Leasing Specialist to be the frontline liaison, building relationships and delivering excellence by addressing resident concerns to maintain satisfaction. Own the leasing process from inquiry to onboarding, proactively monitor vacancies and hit leasing targets.

The role also involves collecting payments, inspecting properties and coordinating moves and maintenance. Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of customer service or related experience, a high school diploma, MS

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service, sales, office administration or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office. SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements.
• Proven ability to address concerns and achieve performance targets.
• Strong problem-solver with effective negotiation skills.
• Highly organized and detailed-oriented with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driver abstract, reliable, insured means of personal transportation to and between work locations may be required for some locations.

The successful candidate must be available to work Tuesday - Thursday 10:00am to 6:00pm and Friday to Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm, possess a valid driver's license, and have access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel. Mileage and other approved travel expenses will be reimbursed.
