Deveraux Apartment Communities in Canada is seeking a friendly Leasing Consultant to guide prospective residents from lead to lease, presenting available suites and community amenities with a professional, welcoming approach.

You will respond to inquiries, process applications and leases, conduct daily property tours, assist with on-site marketing, and monitor local market trends to support occupancy targets; evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with prospects, residents, and team members in written and verbal forms.
• Customer service experience with a focus on exceeding expectations.
• Sales experience with ability to close leases.
• Strong negotiation skills for lease terms and rental agreements.
• Organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail in handling lease documents and resident information.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly.
• Comfort with property management software and standard office tools.
• Awareness of current rental market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional leasing experience from lead to lease.
• Conduct daily property tours for prospective tenants and highlight features/amenities.
• Process rental applications and leases; handle prospect leads.
• Assist on-site marketing initiatives and resident events.
• Monitor local market trends to support occupancy and pricing.
• Assist management with occupancy and leasing activity reporting.
