Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to respond to inquiries, market and lease single-family homes, and renew leases while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires strong communication, a sales mindset, and adherence to Fair Housing guidelines.

You will manage daily marketing and administrative tasks, maintain knowledge of the local market, process applications, coordinate tours, and interact with residents in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing/customer service role.
• Demonstrated sales and closing skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries/leads from prospective clients to identify potential renters and market, lease, and renew apartment leases.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the community and local market, including floor plans and promotions.
• Process lease applications and prepare new lease contracts for approval.
• Tour prospects and inspect units in advance to ensure readiness.
• Log prospect information and communications into the Property Management software and respond to emails, voicemails, and texts.
