Job summary

HRS Property Management is seeking a professional Leasing Agent to join our property management team. You will greet tenants, manage inquiries, and coordinate showings while ensuring accurate record-keeping and smooth move-ins.

Responsibilities include handling lease documents, applications, follow-ups, and collaborating with the team to maintain occupancy and service quality. Strong customer service, admin experience, and knowledge of Yardi are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in office administration, property management, or leasing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Yardi or similar property management software.
• Excellent sales skills with exceptional customer service.
• Effective negotiation skills to close lease agreements.
• Proficient in data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus.
• Outstanding phone etiquette and communication skills both in person and over the phone.
• Prior experience in customer relationship management (CRM) is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective tenants in-person visits, phone calls, and virtual tours.
• Manage leasing inquiries across channels with professionalism and courtesy.
• Utilize Yardi or similar property management software to track leads, lease agreements, and tenant information.
• Conduct property showings and explain lease terms clearly to potential tenants.
• Prepare lease documents, process applications, and coordinate move-in procedures.
• Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records and leasing documentation.
• Follow up with prospects to convert inquiries into signed leases.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data management, and CMMS maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant questions or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with property management team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
