Job summary

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. in Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking a Leasing Agent to help people find homes and build lasting relationships. You’ll listen, problem-solve, and support move-ins/out while meeting vacancy targets and driving market insights. This role requires strong communication, a sales mindset, and dependable transportation.

You will book viewings, prescreen applicants for rent, and collaborate on marketing strategies, with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience.
• Ability to express enthusiasm in all situations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Experience with ERP systems is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between sites.
• Availability to work full-time on weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays.

• Booking appointments with prospective tenants and contacting wait list applicants for viewings

• Supporting the move-in and move-out process and day to day administrative activities
• Delivering vacancy targets on assigned properties
• Supporting business development in the areas of market research, marketing strategies and vacancy rates

What you need to be successful:

• 1+ year of previous sales experience
• Ability to express enthusiasm in all situations
• Effective computer skills including experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience using an ERP considered an asset
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between sites
• Availability to work full-time weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays as required
