Contract Type: Full-time Temporary (1.0 FTE)

Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $118,611, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

Job Summary:

Learning Services Teacher - Grades 7-9

1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting October 6, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to November 27, 2026, or return of the incumbent.

Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Intermediate level. Must have a degree/diploma or certification in Learning Services/Inclusive Education.

Please note that all work will be on site.

Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
