Job summary

Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) is seeking a Learning and Development Advisor to lead an organizational learning portfolio, handle full-cycle instructional design, and develop programs and courses. You will ensure regions support organization-wide learning through ongoing activities and collaborate with teams to enhance training delivery.

You will bring a Bachelor's degree in related field, 2+ years designing and delivering training, and familiarity with project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with education in adult learning
• Minimum of two years designing, delivering and facilitating training
• Experience in project management considered an asset
• A relevant equivalent combination of education, work experience and training may be considered
• Preference given to BC Instructor Diploma or similar qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage with internal clients to determine learning needs and develop strategies for improvement
• Collaborate with management and teams to refine training best practices
• Analyze information from SMEs and project leads to understand requirements
• Research best practices for adult learning in organizational development
• Create resources to support learning, including guides, job aids, and manuals
• Deliver training to adult learners via classroom, virtual, eLearning or blended modalities
