Job summary

Bombardier in Dorval, QC is seeking a Leader, Quality - Quality Management System to drive and mature our QMS across manufacturing operations. You will lead initiatives to control, improve and document quality processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with civil aviation standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a strong quality background, and excellent communication in French and English.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience in Manufacturing Systems.
• Experience in Quality Control.
• Skilled at influencing and mobilizing others.
• Bachelor's degree or technical college diploma in aeronautics or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years supervising quality-related activities.
• Good knowledge of civil aviation standards and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal communication in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, control and continuously improve QMS content.
• Identify, centralize & leverage best QA practices.
• Assess the need and manage the impact of QMS changes to the site’s operations.
• Go & see the site’s operations to grasp the situation beyond a proposed solution.
• Support QMS change implementation.
• Provide QMS technical support to the Quality community and QMS users.
• Exercise leadership aligned with Bombardier's vision and values.
• Coach the team to develop talent within the organization.

• You have a bachelor's degree or a technical college diploma in aeronautics or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• You have a minimum of two (2) years experience supervising quality-related activities or any other experience deemed equivalent
• You have good knowledge of the standards and regulations in force in relation to the authorities controlling civil aviation in connection with our operations
• You have good interpersonal communication skills in both French and English.
