Qualifications

• Requires post-secondary education in public administration, emergency management or related field.
• Strong leadership with experience in unionized, 24-hour operations.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including executive briefings.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for 24-hour service-delivery in the Community Safety Unit.
• Oversee field operations, Dispatch and Investigations, ensuring service continuity.
• Lead workforce planning, performance, budgeting and stakeholder coordination.
• Ensure compliance with relevant acts, collective agreements and policies.
• Maintain partnerships with police, fire, paramedic and other agencies.
