Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a friendly Waitstaff to take orders and deliver meals in our dining room. You will greet guests, suggest menu items, ensure safety and sanitation, and coordinate with kitchen staff during events. A Food Handler Certificate is required. This role offers competitive hourly pay at $17.60 plus total rewards.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with guests.
• Experience in food services and knowledge of service standards.
• Good physical stamina to lift and stand for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders.
• Deliver orders promptly, maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Advise on menu items and dietary needs; note preferences.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders.
• Address guest concerns and escalate when needed.
• Set up and reset dining room before and after service.
• Support other departments during events and functions.
