Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Traffic Engineer/Project Manager with project management experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to lead our transportation planning and operational analysis business lines. This leadership role involves developing and supervising a team handling transportation planning, traffic operations analyses, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead teams conducting transportation planning and traffic operations analyses, including traffic impact studies, environmental assessments, and transportation master plans.
• Manage traffic-related projects, maintain client communications, and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Coordinate resources to ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Oversee report and deliverable preparation by junior staff.
• Represent EXP and clients in meetings with municipal and provincial authorities.
• Contribute to business development and team culture.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably with Ontario municipal and provincial authorities and land development projects.
• RAQS certification or equivalent for Traffic Impact Analysis.
• P.Eng. designation with PEO.
• Proficiency in traffic assessment software (Synchro, VISSIM, Aimsun, EMME) and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Transportation Master Plans is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
• Valid Ontario G2 driver’s license.
• Membership in ITE Canada is preferred.
