Job summary

CoolIT Systems, an Ecolab company, seeks a Thermal Mechanical Engineering Team Lead in Calgary to lead a design engineering team responsible for Direct Liquid Cooling products and to ensure excellence from concept through mass production.

You will manage workloads, mentor engineers, and collaborate with partners to adopt best-in-class technologies while maintaining engineering ownership of design standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of thermal design and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with hardware development lifecycle from concept to mass production.
• Knowledge of GD&T, FEA, PLM, and thermal simulation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical design process for Direct Liquid Cooling products.
• Manage team workload, delegate tasks, and promote technical growth.
• Collaborate with industry partners to drive continuous improvement.
• Define cross-functional roles and escalation paths for product development.
• Act as point of contact for design standards and engineering workflows.
