Job summary

CoolIT Systems Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a full-time Test and Qualification Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Test and Qualification team, ensuring all liquid cooling product testing and qualification activities meet specifications, schedules, safety, and quality standards.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor technicians and engineers, drive continuous improvement, and help advance innovative cooling technologies in a hands-on lab environment.

Qualifications

• BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in product testing and manufacturing, preferably in liquid cooling or electromechanical systems.
• 2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience with test equipment such as pressure sensors, flow meters, temperature sensors, DAQ systems, and multimeters.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, test procedures, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily testing activities for liquid cooling products (CDUs, pumps, heat exchangers).
• Lead and coach a team of technicians, technologists, and engineers to meet safety and quality requirements.
• Plan resources and allocate test stations, fixtures, and materials to meet timelines.
• Develop daily/weekly test schedules and adjust workloads as needed.
• Ensure tests follow approved plans and proper documentation for traceability.
• Review results and ensure accuracy and calibration of tools and instruments.
