Job summary

BCFSA is seeking a Test Automation Specialist to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for enterprise applications using Playwright, TypeScript, APIs, and CI/CD. The role also provides technical guidance to the QA team and collaborates across teams to ensure quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software QA experience, including test planning and manual testing.
• Hands-on experience designing automated test frameworks.
• Advanced expertise with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools for test automation and documentation.
• Ability to review AI-generated tests, code, and outputs for quality and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and manage test data.
• Provide technical guidance to the QA team on automation practices.
• Coach and mentor QA team members in AI-assisted development and best practices.
• Lead test planning and various testing activities (functional, integration, regression, end-to-end).
