Kapitus, Inc. is seeking a senior QA engineer to design and execute automated testing strategies using Playwright with TypeScript. You will automate UI, API, and integration tests, and help scale regression suites in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure high-quality software releases through robust automation and continuous feedback in CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years as a QA or QE engineer with hands-on test-automation experience.
• Proficient with Playwright and TypeScript for automated testing across UI/API/integration layers.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and full-stack application testing across UI, API, and data layers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Automate functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios across layers.
• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable automation frameworks and scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Develop and execute automated API tests to validate system functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and speed up feedback loops.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor results.
• Convert manual test cases into automated coverage to preserve domain knowledge.
