Job description

This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth.

Location: Calgary, AB, CA.

About the role

With a focus on achieving exceptional client, candidate, and associate experiences, the Lead Talent Consultant (LTC) plays a dual role: delivering high‑quality recruitment outcomes while providing day‑to‑day leadership to a team of Talent Consultants (TCs). The LTC ensures team alignment to Adecco standards, operational KPIs, and service excellence. As an internal leader, you act as a mentor, performance driver, and escalation point. You model best practices, provide actionable coaching, and contribute to continuous improvement across the branch.

What you’ll be doing
Team Leadership & Development

Lead a team of Talent Consultants by providing coaching, workflow guidance, and ongoing development. Train team members on sourcing strategies, assessment methods, compliance, and Adecco processes. Monitor team performance and hold team members accountable to KPIs including fill rate, time‑to‑fill, retention, and activity targets. Conduct regular one‑on‑ones, performance check‑ins, and work quality audits. Provide support on challenging roles, escalations, and strategic fulfillment plans. Foster a high‑performance culture grounded in collaboration and continuous improvement.

Recruitment & Associate Management

Build and maintain relationships with passive and active candidates. Maintain a diverse talent pipeline aligned to client requirements. Assess candidates for fit, qualifications, and readiness for submission. Coach candidates for interviews and act as an advocate. Provide associates with ongoing feedback, conflict management, and performance coaching. Support candidates with career development, up‑skilling, and re‑skilling opportunities.

Client & Business Development

Build strong client relationships to understand hiring needs and long‑term objectives. Support TCs during intake meetings, client discovery, and difficult conversations. Contribute to increasing wallet share and strengthening existing accounts. Maintain awareness of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity. Ensure high satisfaction scores and retention of client accounts.

Operational Excellence & KPI Accountability

Oversee team results, ensuring achievement of fill rate, time‑to‑fill, and re‑deployment metrics. Ensure compliance with Adecco processes and documentation standards. Track, analyze, and report team performance metrics. Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans. Use data insights to improve productivity and outcomes.
