Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with testing tools used in structured cabling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Valid driver’s license and travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of structured cabling technicians in installation, termination, and testing of copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop plans and timelines.
• Conduct site surveys and assess cabling requirements.
• Document cabling installations per standards and client specs.
• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber components.
• Troubleshoot signal quality, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate cabling documentation and test results.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate cabling with network infra.
• Design system layouts and configurations.
• Maintain safety and professionalism on site.
• Lead site-level projects and supervise junior technicians.
