Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is looking for a Sr. Structural Engineer in Oakville, ON. In this hybrid role, you will lead structural projects from design to completion, leveraging over 15 years of engineering experience. The ideal candidate will be a licensed P.Eng. in Ontario and have extensive experience in bridge, concrete, steel, and wood structure design. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and vendors are essential. Competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
• Valid Class G Ontario Driver's License.
• Extensive experience in designing bridges, concrete, steel, and wood structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from design to completion.
• Supervise the production of design drawings ensuring compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and manage contract duties.

Skills

15+ years of structural engineering experience

Proficiency with Ontario Building Code

Experience with AutoCAD

Project management skills

Relationship management with clients

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred
