Qualifications
- Accredited four-year engineering degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Mining project experience is required (minimum 4 years).
- Strong communication with management, coworkers, clients and vendors.
- Professional registration and membership in a technical society preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Apply cost-competitive execution to deliver cost-effective project solutions.
- Develop and review design criteria and technical specifications.
- Procure, review vendor documentation and support subcontracting.
- Lead and review structural calculations for large steel and concrete structures.
- Perform dynamic and seismic analyses and provide recommendations.
