Job summary

RE Partners in Canada is seeking a Lead Software Reliability Engineer to drive CI/CD, testing, and automated deployments. This hands-on role emphasizes DevOps and SRE practices to enable safe, rapid releases across client projects.

You will implement tests, containerize apps, upgrade dependencies, improve observability, and collaborate with development teams. Strong skills in JVM languages and/or TypeScript, Docker, Ansible, Gradle/Maven/npm and OpenShift are required in our fast-growing

Qualifications

• Proven experience with TDD and multiple test frameworks.
• Ability to drive automation testing and AI-assisted outcomes.
• Proficiency in JVM languages and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with containerization and modern dev/ops tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI/CD initiatives and advocate safe, automated deployments.
• Wrap apps with tests and integrate data masking where needed.
• Upgrade runtimes and dependencies, keeping systems current.
• Containerize applications and implement observability patterns.
• Improve code review processes and security practices.
