Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on experience with building modern Java cloud applications (12 factor).
• Experience shipping back-end apps (API, messaging, persistence) to production on cloud-native platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Leadership through the full development lifecycle from design to production.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and SDLC optimization.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture.
• 3–5+ years of senior or lead development experience.

What will you do?

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

• Strong, hands‑on experience with building modern Java cloud applications (12 factor applications).
• Practical experience shipping various types of back‑end applications (API, messaging, persistence, etc.) to production leveraging cloud native platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• Proficiency with leading a team through the full development lifecycle, from design to code to production.
• Familiarity with various Agile delivery methodologies and SDLC optimization.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture.
• 3‑5+ years of industry experience in senior or lead‑level development roles.

Nice‑to‑Have:

• Experience with applying emerging AI tools and techniques to generate production code.
• Experience with system monitoring, introspection and observability (Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK, etc.)
• Experience with event‑driven architecture (Kafka, MQ).
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems design (load balancing, discovery, resiliency, backpressure, performance tradeoffs).
• Knowledge of the banking or financial services domain, especially money movement.
