Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer for Financial Services Cloud to provide technical leadership and deliver FSC solutions in a regulated environment.

You will translate complex business needs into scalable Salesforce-based systems and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include leading FSC development, guiding integration efforts, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure architecture, security, data governance, and performance align with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in combined Salesforce FSC architecture and development and solution architecture leadership.
• 3+ years of experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and REST/SOAP integrations. Often supports FSC, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud customizations.
• Functional FSC expert with deep knowledge of the FSC data model.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into technical concepts.
• Experience with insurance systems and integrations would be an asset.
• Salesforce Certifications (desired): Certified Platform Administrator, Certified Platform Developer, Certified Platform App Builder.

Responsibilities

• Lead Salesforce FSC development, solution design, and technical delivery for implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
• Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and project teams to deliver solutions in Salesforce aligned with business objectives and requirements for enterprise architecture, security, data governance, compliance, performance, and sustainability.
• Support Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and other IT development teams with the design and development of integrations related to Salesforce.
• Provide technical expertise and solutions on Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and other Salesforce FSC platform capabilities.
• Support configuration and customization of Salesforce across Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Work closely with the business in technical refinement sessions for Salesforce, transforming complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Evaluate solution options and determine the appropriate balance of standard Salesforce functionality, configuration, customization, custom development, and integration.
• Partner with the Sr. Salesforce Administrator to ensure knowledge sharing, approach alignment, and coverage for administrative tasks as necessary.
• Support business planning and management of Salesforce releases and conduct impact analyses to identify deprecated features and breaking changes.
