Job summary

Pet Valu Canada Inc. in Markham, Ontario seeks a Lead Quality Assurance in Test with extensive automation experience across web, desktop and mobile apps. You will design, develop and maintain scalable automated tests and drive an automation-first quality engineering strategy.

You will collaborate with developers and QA peers to improve testability, integrate tests into CI/CD, and mentor team members while delivering high-quality enterprise solutions for our retail platform.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of professional quality engineering experience with a heavy automation focus.
Proficiency in automated integration tests and end-to-end tests across web, desktop, and mobile apps.
Experience testing ERP/ similar systems and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze development story acceptance criteria for completeness.
Design, develop, and execute automated testing across web, desktop, and mobile apps using Selenium, Postman, ERP, etc.
Monitor automated test runs and report test execution results.
Produce regular dashboards highlighting test coverage and defect trends.
Ensure code quality through clean, maintainable test code and mentoring.
