Job summary

Element Fleet Management Corp. is seeking a Lead, Quality Assurance (Automation) to strengthen in-house QA capabilities across multiple projects. You will provide hands-on automation expertise, govern standards, and guide teams to improve test coverage and release readiness.

The role requires deep automation experience, strong technical judgement, and the ability to mentor others while staying actively involved in delivery. Hybrid work and a Toronto location are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or computer-related field is required.
• 6–8 years of experience in automation and manual testing.
• 4–5 years of experience with Robot Framework, Python, Jenkins, Git, Azure, and Datadog or New Relic.
• Experience designing, developing, reviewing, and executing regression test suites.
• Strong ability to guide QA automation practices while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Set and apply automation quality guiding principles across projects.
• Lead QA automation team members across projects and share best practices.
• Review and support automation test plans, system integration testing, and regression testing guidelines.
• Design and architect test automation frameworks and develop new libraries with Selenium.
• Implement automated testing across work streams and provide progress reporting.
• Contribute hands-on manual QA activities including test case creation and defect management.
• Partner with developers, product teams, and QA to clarify test requirements and share dashboards.
• Develop and improve testing processes and release readiness for features and integrations.
