Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality or test engineering with lead responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience designing automated test suites across all levels.
• Experience with performance, load, and stress testing of real-time systems.
• Experience with API and contract testing across services.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into test plans.
• Strong programming ability for test automation and tooling.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration in a team.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall test and quality strategy across engineering.
• Build and maintain automated test suites across unit, integration, E2E, and regression testing.
• Establish performance, load, stress, and soak testing for high-throughput systems.
• Lead API and contract testing across services and boundaries.
• Develop test tooling, fixtures, mocks, and simulation environments.
• Stand up data validation and ML model validation approaches.
• Build and maintain CI/CD test gates and release-readiness checks.
• Drive non-functional testing including security and resilience testing.
• Debug and investigate issues across the system, including production.
• Set quality standards and mentor others on testing practices.
• Work with pytest, JUnit, Playwright or Cypress for testing.
• Utilize Postman, k6 or JMeter for API and load testing.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and coverage reporting.
• Use JIRA and Bitbucket for issue tracking and source control.
