Job summary

Toronto Hydro Corporation is seeking a Manager, Project Execution in Toronto to lead project delivery for electrical distribution and construction programs. You will review engineering drawings, guide teams, monitor safety, schedules, and budgets, and coordinate with contractors and city stakeholders.

Hybrid role with on-site Tue-Thu, travel up to 15%, and a comprehensive rewards package including pension and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in Electrical and Civil Engineering preferred.
• Five to seven years of professional experience in electrical distribution, system planning, design review and/or construction management.
• Minimum three to five years of supervisory or project leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and review engineering drawings related to utility infrastructure, road restoration and construction project cost estimation.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Engineering and Construction standards and specifications, Municipal Consent Requirements, design and construction best practices.
• Guides internal teams and vendors to validate work package viability, cost effectiveness, and schedule adherence while ensuring safety and reliability.
