Qualifications

• Safety and quality mandate in manufacturing environments.
• Sheet metal experience or familiarity with metalworking processes.
• Ability to learn technical requirements of the product.
• 3–5 years of management experience in manufacturing.
• Able to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership and change-management capabilities.
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Lean manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Ability to travel internationally.
• Post-secondary education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of processes and employees in Dampers, Terminals and Silencers.
• Manage orders and ensure materials are on-hand with purchasing.
• Troubleshoot production issues with senior operators and specialists.
• Develop product knowledge and document critical-to-process information.
• Become a product expert and champion Lean initiatives.
• Coach and collaborate to ensure safe, quality, timely production.
• Ensure department compliance with policies and procedures.
• Hold regular meetings and prepare scheduling reports.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and work without supervision.
• Make critical decisions independently or with senior management.
